Since 2005, the Health Challenge has helped us take steps to improve our lifestyle habits. Now, with the aim of encouraging even more Quebecers, year-round, to take charge of their health, the Health Challenge becomes TOUGO. A playful name that reflects the brand’s promise: “TOUGO is your health go-to.”
TOUGO is an accessible and credible source of information, tools, and invitations that inspires Quebecers to take simple steps to find pleasure in living healthier lives.
At the heart of TOUGO is a brand-new online platform, montougo.ca, that features even more original, quality content in various formats, such as podcasts, developed with a team of experts and collaborators, including the Prevention watch of the Montreal Heart Institute.
TOUGO is an informational resource on health promotion and prevention that uses a playful formula to encourage Quebecers to take care of their health in a fun way that is adapted to their reality. A true partner in health!
The TOUGO content relies on 3 pillars: eating better, moving more, and feeling good, which includes stress management and sleep. This comprehensive approach is the key to promoting physical as well as mental health while contributing to the prevention of chronic diseases.
Developed in partnership with the ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux and in collaboration with a large support network and many private sector partners, TOUGO is a 100% local initiative.
In addition to relying on a dynamic community of over 120,000 followers on Facebook and Instagram, TOUGO also mobilizes life environments (municipalities, daycares, and summer camps) that encourage healthy habits by providing infrastructure and health programs. Valuable allies for a more balanced lifestyle!
