On April 23, Jacques Chagnon, president of the National Assembly of Quebec, hosted the Capsana team, the organization behind the Health Challenge, to mark the end of the 2015 campaign. The winners of the IGA Grand Prize and Blue Cross Health Champion prize were also announced at the event.
Several MNAs and Health Challenge partners attended the reception to recognize the commitment shown by a number of communities to promoting healthy living. The guests included: Lucie Charlebois, MNA and minister of Rehabilitation, Youth Protection and Public Health; Dr. Gaétan Barrette, minister of Health and Social Services; Sylvain Pagé, MNA and official opposition critic for healthy lifestyle habits, recreation and sports; Jean-François Roberge, MNA and Second Opposition Group critic for education, higher education, research and science; Mélanie Maynard, Health Challenge spokesperson; Dr. Louis Gagnon, co-president and founder of Capsana; Dr. Martin Juneau, cardiologist, director of Prevention at the Montreal Heart Institute and co president of Capsana; Suzanne Roy, president of the Union of Quebec Municipalities and mayor of Sainte-Julie; Richard Lehoux, president of the Fédération québécoise des municipalités; Josiane Cousineau, project manager, Online Marketing, Quebec Blue Cross; and Alexandre Mailhot, senior consultant, Marketing, Sobeys Québec.
